Northern Ballet’s “Swan Lake”

Northern Ballet will tour a bold new production of Swan Lake in autumn 2027, reimagined by choreographer Rachel Beaujean. Set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score performed live, this fresh interpretation preserves the emotional depth of the original while giving Odette a stronger voice of her own. Raised as a swan, Odette returns to the human world where love, heartbreak and revenge collide in a powerful retelling of the classic tale. With elegant set and costume design by Colin Richmond, the production combines timeless beauty with Northern Ballet’s distinctive theatrical style.
